Barry E. Horner

About the Author

Barry E. Horner is a distinguished theologian and author whose work bridges biblical scholarship and contemporary Christian thought. With a deep commitment to fostering understanding between Christian and Jewish communities, Horner challenges longstanding prejudices through rigorous exegesis and historical analysis. His seminal book, Future Israel: Why Christian Anti-Judaism Must Be Challenged (New American Commentary Studies in Bible and Theology), explores the theological implications of Israel's role in God's redemptive plan, urging readers to reconsider supersessionist doctrines in light of Scripture. Drawing from decades of study in seminary and pastoral ministry, Horner's writing is both intellectually robust and pastorally sensitive, aiming to promote reconciliation and informed faith in an increasingly divided world.
