Colectivo Historias Desobedientes

About the Author

Colectivo Historias Desobedientes is a dynamic collective of writers, activists, and descendants of those implicated in historical atrocities, dedicated to unraveling the silenced narratives of genocide and authoritarian regimes. Formed to challenge official histories and amplify voices often marginalized, the group collaborates on works that blend personal testimonies with rigorous historical inquiry, fostering dialogue on memory, truth, and justice. Through their collective efforts, they confront the legacies of violence inherited by families, transforming pain into a powerful call for accountability and reconciliation. Their writing serves as a beacon for disobedient storytelling, encouraging readers to question dominant narratives and embrace the complexities of human responsibility in the face of past horrors.
