Extinction Rebellion

About the Author

Extinction Rebellion is a global climate activism movement founded in 2018, dedicated to compelling governments to address the climate and ecological emergency through non-violent civil disobedience. Comprising scientists, academics, artists, and concerned citizens, the group advocates for urgent systemic change to avert catastrophic biodiversity collapse and societal disruption. Their handbook, 'This Is Not A Drill,' serves as a vital resource, outlining strategies for rebellion, the science behind the crisis, and calls to action for individuals to join the fight against extinction. Through compelling narratives and practical guidance, Extinction Rebellion inspires a new era of environmental activism, urging humanity to confront the existential threats posed by unchecked fossil fuel dependency and habitat destruction.
