About the Author

Elizabeth Blamey, a distinguished French author, brings a unique blend of natural observation and poetic insight to her works, often drawing from the wonders of the natural world to craft stories that resonate with young readers and adults alike. Collaborating with illustrator Christophe Brain, whose evocative drawings enhance the narrative's charm, Blamey's writing has been thoughtfully translated into Chinese by Mai Xiaoyan and published under the Qingdou Book House imprint. Her debut children's book, 'Two Trees,' explores themes of growth, friendship, and environmental harmony through the simple yet profound tale of two intertwined trees, captivating audiences with its gentle wisdom and vivid imagery. With a background in botany and storytelling, Blamey continues to inspire a deeper appreciation for nature's quiet narratives.
