His seminal novel, The Big Bow Mystery—known in Thai as อภิปริศนาแห่งโบว์—revolutionized the genre by introducing an 'impossible crime' that remains a cornerstone of whodunit storytelling. Beyond fiction, Zangwill's plays and essays championed women's suffrage and Jewish nationalism, influencing global discourse until his death.
