Kim Tallbear is a renowned Indigenous scholar, writer, and activist whose work bridges science, indigeneity, and social justice. A citizen of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate and enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, she holds a PhD in environmental science and history from UC Berkeley.
