About the Author

Nyoshul Khenpo (1934–1999) was a revered Tibetan Buddhist master and scholar, born in the Kham region of eastern Tibet, who became one of the foremost teachers of the Dzogchen tradition in the 20th century. A direct disciple of the renowned Dudjom Rinpoche, he dedicated his life to preserving and transmitting the profound teachings of the Nyingma school, particularly the Natural Great Perfection, through oral instructions, writings, and retreats. Exiled after the Chinese invasion of Tibet, he continued his dharma activities in India and the West, establishing centers and guiding countless students toward realization of the mind's innate purity. His works blend poetic insight with practical guidance, offering timeless wisdom on the direct path to enlightenment, and he is remembered as a beacon of authentic Tibetan spirituality whose legacy endures in the global Buddhist community.
