Tiny Gray-Garcia, known affectionately as Tiny, is a fierce and unapologetic voice emerging from the shadows of America's underbelly, where poverty and homelessness shaped her early years. Born into a world that criminalized survival, she transformed personal trauma into powerful advocacy, channeling her experiences into writing that exposes the systemic injustices faced by the marginalized. As a formerly homeless mother and activist, Tiny co-founded the People’s Kitchen Collective and uses her platform to amplify the stories of those society deems invisible. Her debut memoir, Criminal of Poverty: Growing Up Homeless in America, lays bare the raw realities of street life, addiction, and resilience, earning acclaim for its unflinching honesty and call to action.
